Maintaining healthy hair is no easy task! It requires proper maintenance, regular trims as well as a healthy lifestyle. We also believe in some indulgence, what’s better than luxurious hair mask? A luxurious hair mask you can make at home. We recommend trying one of these DIY hair mask while you binge on Bird Box or your favorite Netflix series! 

1.    Olive Oil + Avocado Hair Mask

Dry, damaged hair? This mask is for you, it encourages hair growth and helps improve shine + strength. The ingredients are Olive Oil which is full of omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants while the Avocado provides amino acids and proteins. This powerful combo moisturizes dry hair and helps soothe the scalp.

You’ll Need:

  • 1 ripe avocado, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • For extra hydration: add 2 tablespoons of honey

Directions:

Gently blend all ingredients in a small mixing bowl and apply with an application brush (or hands) to small sections of clean, damp hair. Cover hair with a shower cap for 30 – 60 minutes. Rinse hair thoroughly and then shampoo and condition.

2.    Coconut Oil + Honey Hair Mask

Fine, lifeless hair? This mask is for you, it helps provide a layer of protection, improves shine + strength. The ingredients are Coconut Oil which helps protect the proteins in hair, Vitamin E provides antioxidant benefits and the lauric acid helps the emollient honey properties penetrate deep into the hair.

You’ll Need:

  • 2 to 4 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Directions:
